Mauritania achieved an impressive economic record for most of 1990s, with a highest consistent growth rates. Among the factors contributing to economic growth have been successful resource management in the mainstay fisheries sector, both mining and agriculture sectors, diversification of small industry, privatization, liberalization, development of stock exchanges, and we are looking to the new sector of oil to take the largest part of the economic Growth and to create a strong foreign investment and business.
